Read MoreOverachievement and the Co-founder of 1702 Digital – Mihir Joshi have a long-standing relationship. An all-India science topper, Mihir’s journey continued on to graduation in the field of Electronics Engineering and a competitive full-time MBA at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management. (SIBM). During this time, Mihir enrolled himself in arguably one of the toughest exams in the world, CFA. He falls under the prestigious 5 percentile of
candidates who cleared all the 3 stages of CFA in the first attempt. He began his professional journey at TCS and later went on to work with data analytics in finance with Axis Bank followed by work stints at global credit rating agency S&P. From there on, Mihir moved on to ICICI where he managed investment banking and project finance for them. He is also a visiting faculty at BSE Institute Ltd, where he takes lectures on diverse topics such as corporate finance, commodities, investment banking, financial markets, etc for their undergraduate and postgraduate certification programs.
During this time, he mastered the ins and outs of senior management, to deliver meaningful solutions and bring overall growth. He made his niche by focusing on ROI and sales for digital growth when not many companies were concentrating on it. This motivated him to move from a finance background and set his foot into the world of creating digital growth for brands. Especially D2C or E-commerce brands having digital-first products.
He co-founded 1702 along with Aanchal Arora, an ex-capital markets lawyer. Seeing the tremendous untapped opportunity for brands extending their marketing efforts on digital, the duo took the agency way and together established 1702 Digital. Within barely 4 years of starting up, the agency already boasts revenues and a robust client list that other digital marketing firms achieve after half a decade of starting up. 1702 Digital has been awarded
the fastest growing agency by many relevant publications in the media industry. He helped 1702 Digital retain clients by aligning the team to think about the customer’s returns first before anything else. He has mastered the skill of resource allocation and makes sure to build a culture of trust, where there is no micromanagement so that people can explore themselves and provide solutions that are affordable, executable, and
practical. Mihir has always been an intrepid explorer and felt a strong willingness to give back the learnings that helped him reach thus far in his career, to society. He is known as the lead brain behind 1702 Digital, fearlessly leading both the right and left brains part of marketing functions. He’s as good as his creative copies as he is with his attribution analysis in digitalmedia.
