Read MoreNayan Patel currently works as Associate VP – Digital at World Wide Media. Nayan is responsible for enhancing the online user experience across brands, whilst ensuring consistent growth in traffic to all of the group’s digital assets. This includes managing and enhancing the user experience of over 13 million followers across social assets, and growing this fan base in line with the organizational strategy.
Prior to joining World Wide Media, Nayan worked as General Manager (Products) at musafir.com, where he managed the P&L for the business and vendor relationships, together with driving technology and ROI-led marketing initiatives amongst other responsibilities. Prior to this, Nayan held key positions at Thomas Cook India Ltd, including General Manager (Products) and Senior Manager Leisure Travel (Outbound). Nayan’s work led him to receiving the National Annual Pride Award 2012 for “Pioneering the Future” at Thomas Cook India Ltd.
Nayan began his professional career at Larson & Turbo Ltd, where he worked on two of the most critical projects for the Indian Naval Weapons System Upgradation. He has been a recipient of the “Order of Merit” Award by the Marketing Agencies Association’s Global Academic Challenge 2009 for paper on promoting India as a tourist destination during recession.
Nayan graduated from the University of Mumbai, and further went on to pursue an MBA from NarseeMonjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai. Nayan is an E-commerce enthusiast and a passionate reader.
